Pilates Studio Classes

Our Pilates Studio Sessions are tailored to your own specific requirements.

Within the one-hour session, you will work your whole body using traditional Pilates equipment such as the Trapeze Table, Reformer, Wunda chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, other small apparatus and the mat.

The equipment utilises springs and pulleys to either assist or resist movement, thus promoting optimal movement quality, strength gains and improved flexibility.

The Pilates method is comprehensive and adaptable. It is most suitable for those rehabilitating from injury or illness right through to those wishing to improve their long term fitness goals or sporting performance. At Mind Heart Body Centre we offer safe, effective and personalised Pilates programs which are designed to improve your overall movement quality and well-being. All sessions are closely supervised and guided by our highly qualified and accredited practitioners. No experience or base level of fitness is necessary.

Before starting Studio sessions, it is a requirement that you start with a one-on-one initial assessment.

Pilates Studio Classes

face to face ONLY

60 minute sessions | Qualified Pilates instructors will guide you through sessions that work your whole body utilising a range of equipment from Trapeze Table, Reformer, Wunda chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector along with other small apparatus and the mat.

Assessments

An initial assessment enables us to fully assess your body’s needs and advise you on basic Pilates techniques. This is essential even if you have done Pilates elsewhere before. Following the initial assessment, our practitioner will make recommendations for your Pilates program and will find a mutually convenient time to commence regular Studio sessions. The recommendation may be for private sessions or small group sessions (maximum of 4 participants) depending on your needs and budget.

Ongoing Sessions

We recommend at least 2 sessions per week for the best results. However, you will still gain great benefits from attending once per week. If it is a matter of cost, you may wish to supplement your studio sessions with general mat classes providing you do not have specific rehabilitation issues.

General mat classes are not recommended for pregnant women. In this case we would suggest that you attend our Pilates Studio Sessions.

All Pilates Studio sessions are by appointment only. Bookings are essential.

Please note that 24 hours’ notice must be given if you are unable to attend a booked session, regardless of the reason, otherwise a late cancellation fee will be charged. This also applies to cases of no-show.
